Peony & Magnolia, led by Alice Bromwich, established the HR consultancy in 2019 and as a true HR Professional, she considered what values she wanted her business to grow from, what vision did she have for delivering effective HR to others and how can this be translated into the solutions her and her associates deliver.
So why name an HR consultancy after a bunch of flowers? The symbolisation and meaning behind the two flowers are exactly what makes a great partnership and are at the origins of any solid relationship; trust, being honest, open and ethical; demonstrating empathy and compassion and considering other perspectives. Having a collective drive and determination to simply make it work, so that both parties are happy with the outcome. Logically, this is what Peony & Magnolia pride themselves in being able to translate into practices, strategies and projects that support Leaders to develop their own businesses successfully. By establishing good, healthy client relationships, you will see the impact and difference a good HR consultancy can make to your performance, culture and people.

ABOUT ALICE BROMWICH – FOUNDER
Alice has a genuine passion for HR. Alice brings a strong level of commercial focus and acumen to the traditional HR Director role. Combining her background, knowledge and experience, Alice is adaptable to any culture or environment and has led businesses through significant transformational change. Alice is comfortable working at Board level as well as developing effective and empowered HR Teams
Her ethos is to listen, appreciate that each issue will have unique factors and personalities involved; then deliver a first-class and positive solution.
She has a drive to inspire others, at grassroots through Inspiring Girls, to developing collaborative ways of working, which she enables through the Peony & Magnolia network.
ABOUT VICTORIA HAWES – ASSOCIATE
Vicki is an experienced CIPD qualified HR Professional with significant expertise across the specialism including Business Partnering, operational, transformational HR and offshore HR team management.
Vicki has worked with large financial services organisations to local SMEs. Vicki has the ability to quickly grasp issues and work empathically with clients to identify solutions. Vicki has extensive experience of delivering both face to face and remote HR services.
When Vicki isn’t working, she is likely to be at her sons school where she volunteers as a Governor. She is also learning how to surf albeit, on the sofa at the moment!
ABOUT SAMANTHA HOLLIDAY – ASSOCIATE
Sam has worked as an influential member of HR teams for over 20 years.
She has held senior leadership positions across multiple sectors, including Local Government, Regulatory Bodies and the Charitable Sector. Her early career started in retail banking where she developed a passion for Learning and Organisational Development.
She recognises the value of relationships in getting things done which is why she places the emphasis she does on employee engagement.
Sam loves people. Making a difference to an organisation, a team or an individual is what drives her commitment to deliver. She is a qualified professional executive coach and accredited to administer a variety of profiling and strength based tools.
Alice is one of the most professional and competent HR directors I’ve had the pleasure of working with during my Executive Career. Her ability to manage the day to day along with challenging projects with great results is a key strength and I’d have no hesitation in recommending Alice to any organisation requiring her skills.
