Today I have had my head down and working on the peony & magnolia brand image. This has been painful, mainly because I want it to happen but recognise I need to wait for it to be right! I have been busy putting words and images together and this skill isn’t one of my strengths, but I really want to learn.

Now I could have outsourced this to someone, and there is an argument that it would have been a better use of my time. However, after a few go’s I have been able to create posts, upload images and start getting the feel right. Don’t worry I will ask someone with some actual skill to tidy up the rawness, so it doesn’t look like a hodge-podge of my trial and errors.

The rest of today has been mainly taking time for myself to recharge a bit, one of the reasons I wanted to freelance was to get a balance as I give 110% and then forget to slow down and all types of things suffer then. There is a very wide and topical conversation around flexible working which I will save for another day, as right now I plan to meet a friend for a quick drink after ‘work’ and then switch off and go and be Alice for the evening.
