I have 4 diaries that I organise, all to keep life in balance. Now that might seem excessive but with my work, a house to run, (which includes a building project!) two children and their life schedules and the occasional social event of my own to slide in, I find that this is the best method for me. I was an Executive Assistant for a few years, and it gave me a great deal of satisfaction to manage busy and important diaries and taught me a great deal, time is precious, and I intend to make the most of it.
So, here I am sat on a Sunday, checking my week ahead and making sure that I am prepared. I know what my objectives are, and I know where time will be tight and what I need to do to make sure I have thought ahead. It doesn’t mean that the plan won’t flex along the way but that is the beauty of understanding what your end goal is. I know I have a busy week to look forward to!
These skills are naturally, interchangeable into my work arena, be it a change management project or a collective consultation and I do love a to do list to keep me in check and anyone who has worked with me can vouch for that! #challenge #HR #100days #plan
